Long block for CPYA & CPYB Linde engines. Some notes that customers have given us over the years:
Some have had to drill and tap hole for EGR – hole is there but it’s blocked off with an engine plug. Had to drill and tap one bolt (approx 3/8″)
Cut dipstick tube ~1.5″ (whatever it takes to get seated)
Use existing oil pan if you want to keep the oil level sensor, otherwise you can keep the new pan.
Core price of $1500 is included. Thus far we’ve been able to turn the cores into VW, with purchase, you acknowledge that there is a possibility that VW will reject the core.
In order to maximize possibility of core being accepted, drain of oil and strip your core of anything external, including oil cooler. If you swap oil pans reattach oil pan to core.
If we send engine to you with a VW box, must be returned in same box.
