Complete rebuilt 02A Transmission. This listing is for Mk3 & B4 TDIs with a 3.16 ring and pinion. You must complete the year, make, model, and engine fields to place your order.

Price includes a $200 core charge to be refunded when we determine that your core is rebuildable, which may take up to two weeks.

1997-1998 Jetta/Golf TDI

1st: 3.778
2nd: 2.118
3rd: 1.360
4th: .971
5th: .756

Warranty: 2-year, Unlimited Mileage against results of the rebuild.

These are shipped without shift towers and dry, you will need to add gear oil. We only approve the following gear oils, and you must use one of them in order to qualify for warranty coverage, do a flush after 500 miles and then change every 40-50,000 miles:

• VW G60 or G70
• Redline Superlight Shockproof & MT-LV (1 quart of each) (Not for use if you have a Wavetrac LSD installed)

Please allow up to 3-4 weeks after purchase for shipment. We will install a Wavetrac limited slip differential for $200 plus the cost of the differential with purchase of a transmission. Please also note that we require your old transmission back as a core. Outbound shipping is not included. Return shipping on the core is included.
