This set of rods works with factory pistons with 20mm wrist pins and tapered rods. There are many 06A 1.8T and 2.0T FSI (EA113) applications that used non-tapered rods. See here if you need non-tapered rods.

Eurospec H-Beam forged connecting rods (good for 600+ hp). 144x20mm. All of our 1.8T rods are rifle drilled for increased wristpin and bushing life, these areย tapered.
Rifle drilling is a machining process that adds a small galley in the center of the rod lengthwise. This galley force-feeds oil pressure from the crankshaft journal through the rod to the wrist pin bushing. This in turn gives you more lubrication to reduce wrist pin and bushing wear and increases engine life. Many of our competitors offer rifle drilling for an increased cost, we feel if you need upgraded rods then you need rifle drilling too. so we only offer rifle drilled rods in these applications.
Made from forged 4340 chromoly steel, honed to exact tolerances and balanced in the factory. They are machined with a Sunnen rod hone machine to ensure perfect roundness.
Fits the Following engine codes found on 1.8T and 2.0T applications with factory pistons using 20mm wrist pins and factory tapered rods:
1.8T 20V VW/Audi (Stock & aftermarket pistons) – AEB, AGU, AMK, AMU, APX, APY, ATC, ATW, AWD, AYP, BAM, BEA
1.8T 20V (aftermarket pistons only) –ย AMB, ARX, ARY, ATW, AUM, AWM, AWP, AWW, BJX
2.0T FSI EA113 (aftermarket pistons only) – all engines
2.0L 8V (aftermarket pistons only) – AEG, AZG
2.0L 16V (Stock & aftermarket pistons) – 9A, KR, PL
1.8L 8V (Stock & aftermarket pistons) – JH
