Replacement engine oil filter housing for BMW N47 and N57 diesel engines. The housing supports the oil-filter element and routes pressurized engine oil between the engine, filter, oil cooler, and oil thermostat. Replacement is recommended when the original housing becomes cracked, warped, or develops oil or coolant leaks.
