Description
OEM LuK OR Sachs dual-mass clutch and flywheel kit for VW vehicles with a TDI engine and 6-speed manual transmission. Both are OEM, due to tariffs we have mixed stock. The 02Q has steel synchros and requires a dual-mass flywheel for replacement (a single mass kit will destroy your transmission)! Note that for any warranty coverage it is required to change the flywheel and clutch kit together. This kit comes with pressure plate and flywheel bolts as well. Make sure you bleed the slave cylinder BEFORE installing to get all the air bubbles out!
Good for about 300 torque with the LuK kit and 325 torque with the Sachs kit.
Includes the Following:
OEM TDI DMF – DMF123
OEM TDI Clutch, Pressure Plate & Throw-out Bearing/Slave Cylinder Kit – 02-057
Fits the Following:
2013-2015 VW Beetle TDI
2010-2015 VW Golf TDI
2009-2015 VW Jetta TDI
2012-2015 VW Passat TDI
Installation Note: Make sure you bleed the slave cylinder BEFORE installing it to get all the air bubbles out! It’s a bench-bleed sort of thing, this makes sure that the slave will start with some fluid in it and the most difficult to remove air pockets already pushed out. You do still do the normal bleed procedure as well once everything is bolted into the car, but doing the bench-bleed before bolting the slave in makes it considerably easier to do the final bleed once everything is assembled.
You can compress the throwout bearing with one hand, with the 90 degree neck pointing up, pour a little brake fluid into it, then release the T.O. bearing. This will pull the fluid in. Tip it upright as it would normally sit in the transmission and slowly compress the throw out bearing again, tip it so you can fill some more easily, repeat a few times until it seems like you’ve got as much fluid into it as you can, then go ahead and bolt it into the transmission.
